Academic Research

Westminster College has long been committed to promoting undergraduate research and to developing young scholars.  On Thursday, April 14 the College hosted its 4th Annual Undergraduate Scholars Forum to give students the opportunity to showcase their undergraduate research.

The Scholars Forum allows the College to highlight our students' achievements in a formal and comprehensive way in which the entire campus community can celebrate students' outstanding academic achievements.

Nearly 150 students from 18 departments offered paper presentations, poster presentations, multi-media presentations, and creative performances at the 4th Annual Undergraduate Scholars Forum.

Westminster's Scholars Forum is a definitive example of how Westminster's liberal arts education challenges students to do more than just learn inside the walls of the classroom.  The opportunities for extensive undergraduate research turns Westminster students into critical thinkers who will become tomorrow's global leaders.
