International Studies

Westminster College offers a major in International Studies with concentrations in either Regional Studies or International Issues. Students majoring in International Studies will develop knowledge of the contemporary world through a broadly integrated analysis of international issues or through in-depth study of one region of the world. Students in both concentrations will acquire skills in a language relevant to their program. It is strongly recommended that students majoring in International Studies spend at least one semester in an approved off-campus program.

Because of its interdisciplinary nature, the International Studies major requires careful planning. Students considering a major in International Studies should consult with the program coordinator early in their college careers.
