Library Services
Circulation:
Most books and other circulating items in the Reeves Library Collection are loaned to students for a period of one month and to faculty for the current semester. Faculty may borrow videos on a two-week loan period; students view videos in the library or for overnight checkout.
Library holdings may be searched in the Arthur catalog. Arthur allows you to search our holdings as well as those at William Woods, Lincoln, Columbia, and Stephens, individually or all together. You may also search other MOBIUS libraries including the University of Missouri Columbia.
More
Interlibrary Loan:
Interlibrary loan is available to faculty, students, administration, and staff. Most books and articles can be obtained at no charge to the borrower.
For books, first check the Arthur and the MOBIUS Catalogs to see if the item is held by one of the academic libraries in MOBIUS. If so, you may place a request in the online catalog yourself. This will be faster than using interlibrary loan, which now is used for books not available through MOBIUS and for periodical articles. First Search-Worldcat is a good place to search for additional books that can be received through traditional interlibrary loan but it may take 2 weeks to receive the item.

Instruction:
Librarians are available to work in classes, small groups, or for individual assistance. Contact Kat Barden, or Angela Gerling to schedule class instruction or to schedule research assistance.
Other Services:
Here you will find out about the various special purpose rooms in the library and how to schedule time in the various labs and classrooms available in the library. To schedule av/media equipment for use in the classroom contact the I.T. Help Desk at x5169 or email Help.
