Sports
The Westminster College Blue Jays rose to prominence in the early
1900s under the guidance of coaches Jim Pixlee and Brutus Hamilton.
Coaching legends Henry "Hank" Iba and Tom Botts played collegiately
at Westminster, paving the way for major leaguers such as Fulton's
own Arnold "Bake" McBride. A power in the Missouri College
Athletic Union (MCAU) and National Association of Intercollegiate
Athletics (NAIA), Westminster now competes on the Division III
level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
