Kim was born and raised in Jefferson City Missouri. She has been a nurse for over 20 years and worked in intensive care, emergency room, recovery room, and education. She completed a dual Masters in Nursing and Nursing Education through St. Louis University in 2011. Her experiences as a nurse practitioner include cardiology, primary care, college student health, and chronic pain management. Kim is married with two children. Her husband owns and manages a vending business in the surrounding mid-Missouri area. In their spare time, they enjoy being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family.
