Keeping With Tradition
Sloss Hall
This beautiful new residence hall, which houses 70 of our freshmen, sits on the site of the old Robertson Dining Hall. The new building, both elegant and functional, is a fitting tribute to Brooke, and his name will serve as an inspiration to all who reside there.
Naming the new residence hall for Brooke is in keeping with Westminster’s long standing tradition of naming residence halls for esteemed professors with remarkable tenure. Current buildings are named for John Harvey Scott, John J. Rice, Danny Shaw Gage, Edgar Hoge Marquess, George B. Sweazey, and Otis Melvin Weigle who, together, dedicated more than 300 years to Westminster. It is fitting that Brooke be recognized alongside these other giants of learning.
