Carlinville, Ill. – The Westminster College women defeated Blackburn College 80-34 Saturday and recorded the largest margin of victory ever in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) series.

The Blue Jays, who are 12-2 overall and stand alone in the league standings at 7-0, shot 49 percent from the field in keeping Blackburn winless at 0-15 overall and 0-6 in league play. Junior Hannah Kloster (Springfield, Mo./Parkview) led Westminster with a game-high 14 points, sophomore Leigh Ann Lutz (California, Mo./California) scored 12 points, and senior Heather Letourneau (Smithton, Mo./Smithton) and sophomore Talisha Washington (Fulton, Mo./Fulton) each grabbed five rebounds. Briana Rae led Blackburn with 13 points and a game-high seven rebounds.
