Internship Scholarships

Greg Richard Internship Scholarship

Students who are completing a credit-bearing summer internship may apply for a scholarship to help defray the cost of summer internship credit. The amount of the award and the number of awards may vary from year to year.

Greg Richard (WC '88) is a member of the Westminster College Board of Trustees. His special interest in helping young people find rewarding careers started with his own experience as a Westminster College student. Greg was greatly influenced by the staff of the Office of Career Services at that time and soon realized that every student has the potential to be a contributing member of an organization if s/he has access to the proper resources. When Greg discovered that some students were unable to participate in internships due to financial restraints, he promptly set up a scholarship fund. Due to his generosity, several students have gained the practical experience they needed in their field through internships.

Students: The application process for this scholarship begins in the Spring semester. Watch for an e-mail from the Internship Coordinator with application instructions.
