In 2019, a curious group of Westminster College field researchers exploring the Grand River National Grassland in South Dakota received a startling phone call. A rancher who was repairing a fence found a curious object jutting out of the ground.
What they found is proof that at our small college, we make BIG discoveries.

Winston Churchill is forever remembered for his contributions as Prime Minister (PM) during World War II.
The address, formally entitled, "Sinews of Peace," but best known for that evocative phrase, "An Iron Curtain has descended across the Continent", effectively marked the beginning of the Cold War.
The National Churchill Museum, on the campus of Westminster College, commemorates and celebrates the life, times, and distinguished career of Sir Winston Churchill.
