Graduating Seniors and Families, your big day is coming soon! We cannot wait to celebrate your accomplishment of completing a Westminster College education.
Commencement Schedule: May 10, 2025
- 8:30am - Alpha Chi Induction Ceremony - Invite Only - If you are invited your family may attend with you
- Location: Church of St. Mary, The Virgin, Aldermanbury/America's National Churchill Museum
- Note: There will be light refreshments available in the lobby of the museum following the induction ceremony.
- 10:30am - 11:30am - Baccalaureate

- All are welcome to this event!
- Baccalaureate is an interfaith celebration of the graduating class. Through scripture, sermon, and song, graduating seniors are invited to reflect on their journey, give thanks for their inspiration, and contemplate their future. Families of all religious or philosophical traditions are invited to attend this annual service.
- 11:30-1pm - Lunch in Dining Hall
- Location: Backer Dining Hall
- Seniors and Faculty/Staff are Free
- Families must pay; rates are $10 per person. They accept cash or credit cards.
- 1:15 - Senior Class Photo
- Location: Outside Westminster Hall
- Seniors must wear cap and gowns for the Senior Class Photo
- 1:30-2:00pm - Senior Line Up with Skulls of Seven
- Location: Historic Gym
- Seniors will be directed after the photos where to go from the Skulls of Seven
- 2pm - Graduation and Columns Ceremony
- Location: Champ Auditorium
- Main Entrance: Door facing Latshaw Plaza (See map for more details)
Important Information for Commencement (Graduation) Ceremony:
- If you have not already picked up your tickets or worked with our team to pick up your tickets at a later date, please pick them up by Tomorrow at 5pm.
- The Main Doors (facing Latshaw Plaza) will open at 1pm. All other doors will be locked.
- There will be no re-entry allowed so once you are in Champ you will be in the building until after the event.
- Please make sure you read Tim Howell's email on safety measures for this event. (includes information about seating, accessibility, etc.)
Transportation:
Please note there will Student Ambassadors driving golf carts around campus throughout the entire day so if you need a ride from your car to Champ or to take you to the Columns Ceremony after Commencement they will be there to help.
Parking:
The Commencement Map 2025 document will let you know where you can park. The Hill will be closed all day, however all of the other lots on campus are available for you to park in.
