The impact of a Westminster business education is easy to see. Look no further than alumni Steve Ford '01. He chose Westminster for the opportunity to join the Blue Blazers Investment Committee (BBIC), our student-run investment club, and start building a portfolio during his studies. Two decades later, Ford is now managing director of the Business Development Department of GQG Partners – and he brings his years of experience in the business sphere back to help the next generation of Westminster alumni. In 2020, he met with the Blue Blazers on the annual trip to New York to offer mentorship and advice about investing.

With a business degree from Westminster, you too could excel in your profession and lead others to success.

From the Classroom to the Boardroom

Business administration students receive countless real-life application opportunities to develop their hands-on skills and build their resumes. You'll be able to develop business plans, conduct market analyses, conduct HR audits, and more – all before you ever graduate.

For example, students in our Blue Blazers Investment Club get to work with a broker to invest real money and every year take a trip to New York City to learn about stock market trading up close.

In addition to experiential learning, Westminster also emphasizes communication and interdisciplinary learning in subjects such as political science, history, and economics to help students graduate as robust and well-rounded professionals that rise to the top of the competitive job market.
