What unique experiences, classes, features, etc. your program offers?

The Mathematical Data Science program at Westminster College includes a blend of courses in statistics, mathematics, and computing. You will learn how to use the statistical software packages R and RStudio to access and clean up data sets, and to explore, interpret, visualize, and analyze data in interdisciplinary fields. You will also learn the mathematics that forms the core of modern data science. Students may participate in team competitions, including DataFest, and pursue opportunities for internships.

“A student graduating with a degree in Mathematical Data Science will be well prepared to work in industry as data scientists or to attend graduate school in Data Science or Statistics.”
