Housing FAQs

Currently, students are required to live on campus unless they meet the following criteria: living at home with parents, are 22 years old or have senior status (88 credit hours), are married or the primary caregiver of a child or children, or have a verifiable medical or financial reason. Individuals currently must apply to the Housing Review Board that is chaired by the Director of Residential Life and includes representatives from Greek Life, the Business Office, Financial Aid, the Wellness Center, and Academics for exceptions to this policy. All COVID-19-related exceptions should follow the same process. Depending on the exception requests, medical documentation may be required. You may find the Request for Exemption to Residency Requirement Form here.
Westminster College will work with public health officials to assume the correct next steps, which may include isolation.  Residential Life has spaces for isolation.
